Useful information

The Museums of the City of Strasbourg reopened their doors on June 13. You can find below all the information and sanitary measures implemented to welcome you.

Reopening of the Museums

Closed since March 14, the Museums of the City of Strasbourg reopened their doors to the public on June 13, in the best conditions to welcome back staff and visitors.

For work reasons, the Tomi Ungerer Museum-International Centre for Illustration will open its doors later, on July 3.

The Zoological Museum, closed for renovation works, will only be accessible in 2023.

The Museums’ Auditorium is also closed temporarily to the public.

The Museums’ Library is accessible only by appointment.

All the activities (guided visits, narrated visits, workshops) usually proposed in the museums are suspended.

The Museums’ website and social networks will be updated regularly to inform visitors about the activities and the new schedule.

Exhibitions presented in the Museums

The exhibitions presented before the museums’ closure are extended and visitors can discover:

“Tomi Ungerer Inside Out. A Tribute to Tomi Ungerer in the Museums of Strasbourg” until August 2, 2020
