The Museum of Fine Arts presents a fascinating overview of the history of painting in Europe from its beginnings to 1870.
Located on the first floor of the Palais Rohan, the museum offers a tour through the centuries and schools.

Its collections run parallel to those of the Musée de l'Œuvre Notre-Dame for the Rhenish Middle Ages and Renaissance and are later continued in the Musée d'Art moderne et contemporain.
