Our collections provide a unique panorama in nearly all the fields of western art history, from the middle ages to the contemporary times (fine-arts, decorative arts, photography, aesthetics, folk art and traditions, Alsace art, museology, etc.).

The grouped collections (over 140,000 documents) are, outside Paris, the largest which can be found in France: 40,000 artist monographs, 40,000 temporary exhibition catalogues , 10,000 museum collection catalogues, 4,000 collections of decorative art boards, 700 titles of old art reviews, 140 subscriptions to current art reviews, 1,300 audiovisual documents and several thousands of sales catalogues await you for a mere reference or for more detailed work on a specific theme.
